All-O-Matic Unveils New Column Mount Swing Gate Operator and Enhanced Control Board

All-O-Matic introduces the MACH-PRIME column mount swing gate operator and enhanced TORO24 control board to simplify gate automation for wide column gates.

“MACH-PRIME was introduced to overcome hurdles presented by gates with wide columns, where conventional actuator arms cannot be easily installed,” explains Fortino Tarula, general manager with All-O-Matic. The company, located in Van Nuys, California, manufactures gate operators, hardware and services for small residential to heavy duty commercial operators.

The new MACH-PRIME offers an opening range of up to 130 degrees.

To streamline installations and simplify gate automation systems, All-O-Matic designed the MACH-PRIME to be fully compatible with their TORO24 Prime Actuator control board. “The integration of the MACH-PRIME and the TORO24 control board enables users to utilize the same TORO24 control box for both systems, eliminating unnecessary complexity and ensuring seamless compatibility.

“We have enhanced the TORO24 control board to provide even greater convenience and efficiency,” he says. The new design incorporates a USB connector, enabling users to retrieve error logs and perform firmware updates in the field. This feature facilitates rapid diagnostics and ensures firmware updates can be swiftly implemented, minimizing downtime and maximizing performance.

They’ve also eliminated the need for potentiometers for their E.R.D. and TIMER settings by introducing three user-friendly buttons that can be utilized in conjunction with the LCD display to adjust the sensitivity setting range more precisely from 0% to 100%. Additionally, the auto-close timer range has been expanded from 1 – 60 seconds to an extended range of 1 – 120 seconds, offering greater flexibility in controlling gate closure. They are currently working on bringing those same enhancements to their BLDC PCB, also.

“In addition, we’ve introduced a range of complementary products that further enhance gate automation solutions,” Tarula says. The WiSe Wireless Kit was introduced for primary and secondary DC gate operator installations, eliminating the need for extensive wiring and trench digging. The Prime VD-1 plug-in Loop Detector is specifically designed for use with the LPR-2 Prewired Loop rack. This detector features a solid-state detection output that can be inverted using a dip switch to provide either fail-safe or fail-secure operation. All-O-Matic also offers the AML-1200B mag lock to ensure secure and reliable gate locking.

Lastly, in March of this year, they introduced their new AOM-RED EYE kit, including two per slider and one per every swinger and overhead gate operators, sold separately.
